A proud moment for the King Henry VIII School community as four members of the Class of 2016, Dan Andrews, Charlie Atkinson, Milan Bodali-Bosson, and Conor Winters performed on the main stage at Coventry’s Godiva Festival with their band The Royals.

Having first played together during school concerts in Year 7, the band mates have grown into accomplished musicians. Their standout performance at one of the region’s leading music festivals highlighted their musical growth, confident stage presence, and strong connection with the audience.

Following the release of their debut EP in May 2025, The Royals are now preparing for a UK tour this October, an exciting milestone for a band whose journey began in the music rooms of King Henry’s.

A testament to where early passion and dedication can lead.
