Who we are

Coventry School Foundation (CSF) is an outstanding provider of education for around 1,600 pupils, provided by some 400 staff, with history stretching back over 500 years.

Comprising Bablake Pre-Prep, Bablake Junior School, Bablake School, King Henry VIII Pre-Prep, King Henry VIII Junior School and King Henry VIII School, the Foundation educates boys and girls from 3-18 years of age and has a strong reputation within Coventry and the Midlands.

Based in the heart of Coventry, we are a family of schools and educators, brought together by a common purpose: to give young people the foundation for an extraordinary life through exceptional education.

Each school is unique but brings with them a rich heritage and traditions of academic excellence.

Our cultural and social diversity is a major strength within the Foundation as each school welcomes pupils of diverse beliefs and backgrounds.

CSF is a registered charity (528961) and governors are Directors of the Coventry School Foundation Trustee Limited. CSF is an active membership of the Independent Schools Bursars Association (ISBA) as well as the appropriate heads professional associations (HMC and IAPS).

“Pupils take pride in the high standards they achieve and are strongly supported by the well-structured, broad and challenging curriculum and by the highly effective teaching they receive.”

“The quality of the pupils’ academic and other achievements is excellent. Pupils develop excellent self-understanding, self-belief and self-confidence as they mature through the School.”

“We have complete confidence in the staff in ensuring that our son is being appropriately stretched and challenged in his learning alongside building his confidence in his own abilities.”

“I believe that everyone involved with the School cares about each individual child in every aspect of their day to day life.”
